FAW questions
How many first aiders does a site need?
It depends on your risk assessment, headcount and site layout. Higher-risk construction work usually needs at least one FAW-qualified first aider per shift.
How long does the certificate last?
Three years. HSE recommends annual refresher training in between to keep skills current.
Can you run it on our site?
Yes, where you have a suitable room. On-site delivery is often cheaper and quicker for groups.
