Construction site manager on site discussing safety arrangements

Health & Safety

A named safety contact, without hiring one

Ongoing health & safety support for construction businesses — someone who knows your work, answers the phone when a site problem lands, and keeps the paperwork side moving.

Every employer must appoint a competent person to help them meet their health and safety duties, and where nobody in the business has the necessary knowledge and experience, that person can be external. KVK provides that support: a named contact for advice, documents, inspections, records and client questionnaires, sized to how much you actually need.

What this includes

A named contact

Someone you can call about a real situation — a refused RAMS, an unsafe arrangement, a client demand — and get a straight answer.

Documents kept current

Policy, risk assessments and RAMS written and reviewed as your work changes, rather than rewritten in a panic.

Site visits on a programme

Inspection visits at an agreed frequency, with written reports and open actions carried forward.

Training and records visibility

Card and certificate expiry tracked, with courses arranged before they lapse rather than after.

What we can do, and what we will not claim

KVK's support is built on practical construction health & safety, RAMS, site inspection, lifting and training coordination experience. Where a matter needs a specialist discipline or a formal qualification we do not hold, we will tell you and help you find the right person.

That honesty is the point of the service. You get useful help on the things we cover well, and a clear signpost on the things we do not.

Scaled to the business

Some clients want documents only. Some want a monthly site visit. Some want the full compliance side handled, including training bookings and client questionnaires.

We agree the scope and pricing with you up front, and it can move up or down as your workload changes. Nothing is locked in for years.
