EFAW questions
Is EFAW enough for a construction site?
For lower-risk work and small teams it can be. Larger or higher-risk sites usually need the 3-day First Aid at Work qualification.
How long is the EFAW certificate valid?
Three years, with an annual refresher recommended.
What does the day cover?
Primary survey, CPR and defibrillator use, choking, bleeding, shock and unconsciousness, plus incident recording.
