Where premises get bigger, busier or higher-risk, fire risk assessment gets harder — and the Level 4 certificate is the qualification for it. Building on the Level 3 methodology, it develops the depth needed for complex premises: compartmentation and fire protection systems, managing evacuation for more people, and assessing risk where fire engineering is involved. It is the natural step for practising fire risk assessors.
