About the EUSR CAT 1 & 2 course
Striking a buried service is one of the fastest ways to hurt someone, cut off a community and stop a project. The EUSR Category 1 and 2 combination covers the full safe-dig sequence: reading utility plans and site records, locating services with the CAT and Genny, marking findings, and then the safe excavation practices that keep people and assets intact once digging starts. Successful delegates are registered with the Energy and Utility Skills Register (EUSR).
